Medical Angels In Action
Jim Ressler, Co-Founder of Medical Angels recently traveled to Haiti with more than 80,000 lbs of donated Durable Medical Equipment with the goal of setting up the first free OT/PT clinic in Haiti to help the people of Cap Haitan and Port au Prince.
He partnered with Burn Advocates and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines who graciosuly transported all of the equipment to Haiti on one of their ships at no charge.
What We Do In A Nutshell
Medical Angels is 501 c (3) non-profit organization that donates Durable Medical Equipment to individuals who are underserved by the health care system, health insurance, as well as state and federally funded programs.
By collecting, recycling and redistributing equipment that is no longer needed by an individual, we are able to not only help people in need, but we also keep literally tons of materials from going to local landfills thereby also helping the environment
Nearly three months since a devastating earthquake rocked Haiti, some local businesses and organizations are still reaching out to help those in need
